November 18, 2025 — The Harris County Housing Authority (HCHA) and Montgomery County Housing Authority have officially released the 2025–2026 Fair Market Rents and Payment Standards for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program. These new standards take effect for all new leases and recertifications starting January 1, 2026.
